Create a New Acceptance Criteria Template with Metrics and Score

Use these steps to add a new acceptance criteria template with metrics and a minimum acceptance score.

To add an acceptance criteria template:

  1. In the Navigation pane, in Templates, click Acceptance Criteria.
  2. Click + New Acceptance Criteria in the top right corner of the view.
  3. Enter an Acceptance Criteria template name.
  4. (Optional) Enter a description for the template.
  5. On the Acceptance Criteria tab:
    • Enter a score in the Minimum Acceptance Score field. This is the score that the schedule must attain in order to be accepted.
    • (Optional) Add any remarks or note about the score in the Remarks field.
    • Select the metric scoring method. Choose whether you want Touchstone to calculate the score using an average of the metric scores, or calculate the score on a per-record basis where the final score is an average of the per-record scores.
    • At the bottom of the view, click + Add Metric to add the metrics to the template that will be used to evaluate the schedule and calculate the score for the schedule.
  6. Click Save.

After creating an acceptance criteria template, the next step is to assign it to a project.
